My name is Nicolette Lepore, or often referred to as just “Nikki”. I am currently in pursuit of my Masters degree in Sports Management at Missouri State.
Growing up playing softball and having a father whose world revolves around sports, my major was set for me before I could even pick one. I knew at a young age that I wanted to do something in the business world, but had no idea what. After accidentally combining my love for photography and sports in 2013 at a New York Giants training camp and seeing my potential blossom after publishing my photos on Instagram, I realized what I was destined for. I decided to major in Sports, Events and Tourism Marketing. During that time I was also the Content Creator for Montclair State University’s football team.
When COVID started, I made it a point to learn a new skill that could further my career - and I decided graphics would be that new skill. I have fallen in love with designing graphics and using both my photography and graphic skills to tell athletes’ stories.
I am currently on my journey of learning video now. A wise man once told me that it is good to be a Swiss army knife in this field so I make it a priority to keep pushing myself to further my skills. There will always be a better photographer or graphic designer, but I make sure that I am the hardest working person at all times.
